Despite all the upheaval around Chelsea’s current circumstances, and the fact failing to qualify for Europe’s top competition next season could have lasting effects on a club struggling to balance its books, Rosenior took on an oddly positive outlook on things this weekend. He claimed Chelsea ‘dominated from minute one’ and they deserved to win. He said (watch the full segment below):
“I can only say what I saw. I felt we were the dominant team from minute one to the end of the game. To lose this game in the manner that we did is extremely disappointing, because we had many opportunities to win the game.”
Asked what he felt is going wrong for his side during a torrid run of form, he then added: “We’re making key errors in key moments, and we’re not taking advantage of the chances we’re making. I’m delighted we have a game on Tuesday to quickly get this out of our system. “
