The page :Draft:Sayeeda Leghari has been speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This was done for the following reason:

G11, redeletion following temporary undeletion

Under the criteria for speedy deletion, pages that meet certain criteria may be deleted at any time.

Please do not recreate the material without addressing these concerns, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia’s policies and guidelines. If you think this page should not have been deleted for this reason, or you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the , or if you have already done so, you can place a request here. Your account has been indefinitely blocked from editing because it has been used for advertising or promotion, which is contrary to the purpose of Wikipedia. Also, your username gives the impression that the account represents a business, organisation, group, website, or role, which is against the username policy.

If you intend to make useful contributions instead of promoting your business or organization, you may request unblock and a username change. In your reasons, you must follow all these steps:

1. Disclose any compensation you may receive for your contributions in accordance with the paid-contribution disclosure requirement; and
2. Convince us that you understand the reason for your block and that you will not repeat the kind of edits for which you were blocked; and
3. Describe in general terms the contributions that you intend to make if you are unblocked; and
4. Provide a new username.

To do this, insert the text Your proposed new username at the bottom of your talk page. Replace the text “Your proposed new username” with your new username and replace the text “Your reason here” with your reasons to be unblocked. If you are having trouble, you may want to try using the unblock wizard.

Before requesting a new username, check if it is still available. If the search says “There is no global account for [username]”, the username is free to use.

Appeals: If, after reviewing the guide to appealing blocks, you believe this block was made in error, you may appeal it by adding the text at the bottom of your talk page. Replace the text “Your reason here” with the reasons you believe the block was an error, and publish the edit. Jimfbleak – talk to me? 09:08, 11 December 2025 (UTC)[reply]

This user’s request to be unblocked to request a change in username has been reviewed by an administrator, who declined the request. Other administrators may also review this block, but should not override the decision without a good reason (see the blocking policy). Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

Request reason:

Hello,

1. Disclosure: I confirm that I am a paid editor. I receive compensation for creating and improving content related to my clients. I understand and accept that Wikipedia requires full transparency under the Paid-Contribution Disclosure policy, and I will always disclose my paid status on any article or talk page where it is relevant.
2. Understanding: I acknowledge that my earlier edits appeared promotional and were not in line with Wikipedia’s neutrality and conflict-of-interest guidelines. I fully understand the reason for my block and assure you that I will not repeat promotional or advocacy editing.
3. Future Contributions: If unblocked, I will only contribute neutral, well-sourced, and policy-compliant content, following all relevant guidelines including WP:NPOV, WP:COI, WP:PAID, and WP:V. I will restrict edits about my clients to talk-page suggestions only, as required for paid editors.
4. New Username: I respectfully request a username change to “MUK_Editor” that reflects an individual editor rather than a business or organization.
Thank you for reviewing my request.

Decline reason:

Sadly, the messages below do not convince me that you have read the draft and understood its issues (it didn’t “rely too heavily on sources connected to the subject”, or rely on any sources at all), or that you are familiar enough with the paid editing policy. Leghari’sLegacyMediaUnit (talk) 09:30, 11 December 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Hi! Thanks for your clarification. Regarding our paid editing policy, you are expected to give more specific details: is Sayeeda Leghari both your employer and client, or do you have another arrangement (e.g. freelance writer)? On the writing side, can you please explain why specifically your earlier draft was promotional, and what you would do differently? If you don’t remember the details, I can temporarily undelete it for reference. Additionally, can you clarify whether you used AI assistance to write your draft, and if so, to what extent? Chaotic Enby (talk · contribs) 11:20, 11 December 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you for your message and for the opportunity to clarify.
1. Regarding paid editing: I work as a freelance writer/content creator. Sayeeda Leghari is a client, not my employer. I do not have any employment contract with her or her organization; I only provide writing services as an independent freelancer. I fully acknowledge that this creates a conflict of interest, and I will follow all requirements under the Paid-Contribution Disclosure policy.
2. Why my earlier draft was promotional: My previous draft included language that sounded like marketing or public-relations material rather than neutral, encyclopedic writing. I focused too much on achievements and positive descriptions without providing balanced, reliably sourced information. I understand now that this tone violates Wikipedia’s promotional content guidelines.
3. What I would do differently:
– I will write in a strictly neutral tone.
– I will avoid any unsourced or overly positive statements.
– I will rely only on independent, reliable secondary sources.
– As a paid editor, I will no longer directly edit the article but will instead make suggestions on the talk page, following WP:COI and WP:PAID.
4. Use of AI assistance: Yes, I used AI assistance to help structure and draft some sections of the article. However, I understand that AI-generated text must also follow Wikipedia’s neutrality standards. If allowed to contribute again, I will ensure that any text—whether written manually or assisted—is fully policy-compliant, neutral, and based on reliable sources.
If needed, I appreciate your offer to temporarily undelete the previous draft so I can better understand what went wrong.
Thank you again for reviewing my clarification. Leghari’sLegacyMediaUnit (talk) 12:23, 11 December 2025 (UTC)[reply]

I have temporarily undeleted your draft at Draft:Sayeeda Leghari. Can you look at it and tell me what issues you can find with it?Regarding AI assistance, I invite you to read our guideline on the topic, which states that they should not be used to generate new Wikipedia articles from scratch. Additionally, you are also strongly discouraged from using them in your unblock request: we want to hear why you, not ChatGPT, should be unblocked. Chaotic Enby (talk · contribs) 13:35, 11 December 2025 (UTC)[reply]

I want to explain my situation clearly and in my own words.
I am a freelance writer, and Sayeeda Leghari is one of my clients. I am not her employee, but I did receive payment for preparing written material for her. I now understand that paid editors must work very differently on Wikipedia, and I accept full responsibility for not following the correct process earlier.
After reviewing the restored draft, I can clearly see the problems in my work. The tone was promotional, and parts of it read more like a profile or PR document rather than an encyclopedia article. I also relied too heavily on sources connected to the subject instead of using independent, secondary sources. This was a mistake, and I now understand why this violates Wikipedia’s neutrality and notability standards.
I also realize now that as a paid editor, I should never have tried to create or directly edit an article about a client. The correct process is to fully disclose my paid status and suggest changes on the talk page instead of editing the article myself. I will follow this process strictly from now on.
Regarding AI, I did use an AI tool while drafting some text. I understand now that generating an article from scratch using AI is not acceptable. Going forward, I will not use AI to create Wikipedia content. Any suggestions I make will be written manually, based on reliable sources, and strictly within policy.
If I am unblocked, I will contribute responsibly. I will limit myself to talk-page suggestions on topics where I have a conflict of interest, and I will make sure everything is transparent, neutral, and fully compliant with Wikipedia policies.
Thank you for taking the time to read my request. I appreciate the opportunity to correct my mistakes Leghari’sLegacyMediaUnit (talk) 14:47, 11 December 2025 (UTC)[reply]
